I don’t draw or make dogs nearly enough, I think I get overwhelmed by the amount of breeds that exist and how different they look from one another.
But someone suggested a Labrador and I had so much fun making him! I’m still really proud of the simple and efficient shapes I used!
And when I went to take pictures of it and saw this “no dogs allowed” sign, I couldn’t resist!

The other day I was having a #crashout and didn't know I was #missgendering someone. I was not reading, I was not paying attention and was quite frankly distraught.
Without noticing I was talking to a #trans woman I said "bro" several times, making the person feel unwell and making them feel unwelcome.
I don't expect forgiveness or understanding. I'm just saying this aloud for all the #fediverse to show that it is not okay.
For the user, whom I don't remember and who blocked me, I'm sorry.

We need to talk about Nicole.
Am I the only one who gets messages from Nicole, a "Polish girl from Canada" (sic) who invites me to join a bunch of things? And every time I block her, she reappears a few days later with the exact same DM from a new instance.
What can we do about this kind of spam? Not much I guess, besides playing whack a mole?

sphinx-fediverse 0.6.0 is now released. Since the previous version...
New features:
- (Standard) Markdown rendering for Misskey instances (more MFM support to come later)
- Support (in parser only) for emoji-based reactions
- Support (in parser only) for sensitive images among non-sensitive images
- Dump the post-to-page mapping to _static/ for ease of debug
- Support for reply handling on Misskey instances
Bug fixes:
- Icons previously wouldn't show for posts outside the root directory
- A typo led to a duplicate icon
- Shibuya dark now produces legible icons (and this should be portable to other themes)
- the hover effect no longer renders text unreadable on Shibuya dark (again, should be portable)

If the EU wishes to do something 10 times more powerful and impactful, it should wholeheartedly embrace and promote the #SocialWeb and extricate itself from State Controlled #USA #SocialMedia such as #Facebook and #Twitter.
The #EU should provide free assistance to anyone who wants to set up a #Mastodon or #PeerTube or #Pixelfed server.
It should make their own #Fediverse servers their primary source of communication. It should spend money on promoting #ActivityPub and its benefits.
This is how the EU fights #Trump #Fascism and puts Social Media and its moderation into the hands of EU citizens.
